About Y Cyfnod Cafe&Bistro
Caffi'r Cyfnod is the oldest established cafe in Bala. At the beginning of the last century it was a newspaper shop. In the mid 1800's it become a chemist during the Second World War due to food rationing and it was also used for servicing bicycles.
​
After the war the cafe re-opened and since then has had many changes. It has also been made famous in various television programmes and is famous throughout Wales.
​
We want to welcome customers old and new to Cyfnod Cafe & Bistro to enjoy our selection of international food and selected wines.
